Starting some review / study of the rules in preparation for my YMMB airside driving test tomorrow (it's all theory, not prac :) #
License is required for retrieving balloons that land at YMMB – I already have one but need to renew it so it's exam time all over again :) #
About to sleep and wondering which #warplanes model I'd chose – so many – getting toxic option syndrome :) #

Passed the test (100% – go me! :) and with that, I am once again allowed to drive airside #
GPS navigator units take you direct from point A to point B & have no consideration for school zones or civic shopping areas :( #
At a funeral – memories, discoveries, sadness, catching up with friends, laughs, contemplating your own mortality – intense!! #

Just had a most amazing opportunity come up – I'm flying in a DC3 to Albury tonight & back tomorrow – the sacrifices 1 makes 4 podcasting :) #

It's Spring Racing Carnival in Melbourne once again & the best thing is all the helicopters ferrying the richer punters to/from the track :) #

Recording an interview with @OwenZupp & @SteveVisscher for another @PCDU episode – was going great until we hit technical issues – DOH! :) #
Whoops – checked @DMVanderhoof's post that @DavidOptimal quoted – it's the US Press that are wrong in saying a balloon isn't an aircraft :) #
Just picked up a Zoom H2 hand held recorder – listeners to the @PCDU podcast should be afraid, very afraid :) #
